2D stack

Agnès Sauleda Brossa
Hello,

I am working with images to reproduce a rectangular dish full of cells and I
wonder if there is a plug-in or a class to work with a stack that can move
not only in the horizontal direction but in the vertical too. That would
allow me to look at the images in a more comfortable way. If not, does
anybody know if it's possible to do it with a plug-in, or should a new class
or interface be developed?

Thanks,

Agnès.

Sorry, I think I haven't been clear with the explanation, I am not working
with depth, all my images are in the same focus plane. What I have is
approximately 200 images that reproduces a rectangular dish, i.e. 20x10
images and with the stack I have them one after the other and I can't
distinguish the change of row in my dish. It would be useful to have a stack
that can move the slices with a bar in the vertical direction of the screen
too.
I hope that this explanation it's a bit more clear.
Thanks again,

Agnès.

Something like this would be very useful for our large montages of SEM
images as the ability to flick between the montage rows and columns
would be handy.  It would need to have a dialog where the user could
input the number of images in each row and column, and the direction
that the capture went, relative to the image orientation (left to right,
top to bottom, or otherwise...).

Just to let you know there's some interest,

Mike
