I have been using ImageJ for a few years. I have noticed that setting window
minimum and maximum manually (via menu >Image>Adjust>Brightness/Contrast) by pressing the 'Set' button does not always work. This is particularly true for 32-bit real images, when setting min and max to a narrow range. When I enter min and max values in the the 'Set Display Range' dialog box, they are simply ignored when I press 'OK' (the old values are retained). I have downloaded the latest ij.jar file (1.42q) which has not changed this behavior. Is there a limitation or bug, or do I have a problem with my installation parameters? Thanks in advance for any help. Richard VanMetter Washington, DC 20012 |
Hi Richard,
the latest IJ.jar has already arrived at 1.43j (or even k inoffcially)!?(But I think there were no recent changes in this respect....) Nevertheless, can you be a bit more specific, i.e. can the behaviour you see probably be reproduced with one of the sample files?
