Hello all,
I would like to know if exist some 3D filtering shape plugin in ImageJ. I need to separate some objects by shape and one plugin like this would be perfect to my work. Thank you, Best regards -- Luciana F Silva Laboratório de Processamento Digital de Imagens (LPDI) Departamento de Engenharia de Materiais (DEMa) / PUC - Rio Tel: (21) 3527-1750 -- ImageJ mailing list: http://imagej.nih.gov/ij/list.html |
Hi,
There are some possibilities : 1/ either basic dilatation or erosion to modify your objects shape and eventually separate them. 2/ watershed could help you separate them. I advise you to have a look to some of my 3D stuff here : http://imagejdocu.tudor.lu/doku.php?id=plugin:stacks:3d_ij_suite:start especially the 3DManager with a function "split in two". do not hesitate if you have more questions or comments. best, Thomas > Hello all, > > I would like to know if exist some 3D filtering shape plugin in ImageJ. Hi Thomas,
Thank you for your answer me. I guess I was not so clear about my question, because my English is not my native language. I've already looked at that plugin, but I couldn't find what I'm looking for. What I need is one tool that can sort 3D objects. In my stack images I have pores and cracks mixed up and I need to sort them in 2 groups, one with pores and the another with cracks. After, I want to quantify them. So, I'm looking for something like 3D filtering shape plugin. Do you know any tool that can do that for me? Sorry about the misunderstanding.
