3D image generation from topographic analysis from SEM

Dear ImageJ users and developers,

I am wondering if a plugin can be written for ImageJ that will generate 3D images (x,y,z data) from SEM images. Generally 2 or 3 images are obtained at a known angular offset and a 3D image is extrapolated which can be used to quantify surface topography We can contribute code for all sorts of topographic analysis to ImageJ if someone is interested in implementing the (more complicated) 3D image generation.
