3D local thickness plugin

Robert Dougherty
Consider a CT, MRI, etc. image stack and apply a threshold to divide the
volume into an "object" and the "background."  At each point of the object,
the local thickness is the diameter of the largest sphere that contains the
point and is completely inside the object.  Karl-Heinz Kunzelmann ordered a
plugin to compute this a year ago. I've posted the plugin at
http://www.optinav.com/Local_Thickness.htm.
