A couple of issues with ImageJ on a new Mac Pro

Bryan Crawford
Hello everyone,

I've just installed ImageJ on a new Mac Pro and I'm having a couple of problems that I'm wondering if anyone else might've seen or have some insight about.

Firstly, despite setting the threads to 8 in the memory & threads settings (and restarting ImageJ), only one core is used by ImageJ (although *which* core is used changes).

Secondly, when I'm running the 64 bit version of ImageJ fine in one account, but when I switch to another account, I can only run the 32 bit version, and I get an 'unsupported architecture' error when I try to run the 64 bit version?  This is obviously not correct, but I can't figure out how to get the 64 bit version to work in other accounts.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Cheers
