A licence code for an ImageJ plugins package

Dear ImageJ developer experts,

I am wondering if there is a way to enforce a licence code for an ImageJ
plugins package.  And is there a way to associate an expiration time with
the license code?  Thanks a lot.

You are free to implement this as ImageJ is a free software but this goes clearly against our goals as developers and supporters of ImageJ.
