I worked with applied image analysis. Now I am retired as research scientist
after 31 years. Now I am working as scientific referee. I estimated the
area of animal body from above in video images. I used manual edge detection
for 400 animals. It was very hard work. I tried your program imagej on my
video images and got the same results.
I tried also the program on my microscope slides to count blood cells in
hens to find the dilution of blood, preparing to blood analysis.
I used the program to convert my images to GIF format to be used to my
animation program.
