A user interactive plugin in which user should see the difference in segmentation with the change in the threshold value on the copy of the uploaded image

Hi All, I am interested in segmenting RGB images and for that, I have
developed an ImageJ plugin using GenericDialog box API. What I want with
this plugin is that it should work on a copy of the user uploaded image. For
this, I created an ImageJ plugin, which does the same thing. But the problem
which I am getting is that a new image gets created whenever we change the
value in the slider instead of just updating it on the copy of the image. I
will appreciate it if someone, please help me out in solving this issue.
Please note that during the run preview checkbox is set as true during the
time of run.
