Dear List,
I have gotten this error sporadically with converting some avi’s to mov’s, and can’t figure out why it happens sometimes and not others. I tried first saving as tif, then converting, but things are not working. Also tried different codecs for saving, did not help. I am running win10, updated FIJI. Any thoughts? error:org.bytedeco.javacv.FrameRecorder$Exception: avcodec_open2() error -1: Could not open video codec. Try handbrake: https://handbrake.fr/ and convert to mp4.

To those who responded, thank you! I have gotten a workaround by using flv
encoding, which looks a bit junkier but will have to do.
