About generating sideview from stack for publication

Hi,
I've been developing ImageJ macros and plugins for a while.
But now I got a simple question:
How do you generate a sideview of a stack for publication?
Something simple like this:

Do you use autocad, coreldraw, gimp or is there some plugin for ImageJ?
