Dear list,
I have an image of a section removed from a plane perpendicular to the long axis of the femur. This results in a image that looks like a ring. I am specifically interested in the porosity of the ring of bone. I am able to calculate this if I split the image in half. If I leave the image intact, it will only measure the inner space and some features on the outside of the ring.
I am using analyze particles > include holes (all sizes and shapes) ImageJ (1.38)
If I cut the image in half, so it is not a continuous ring, it has no problem and produces the desired result.
Thanks for your suggestions.
