Analyze particles test data sets

Hi all,

I am developing some methods for describing aggregation distributions in
particle counts data that have been analyzed in ImageJ.  I've been using
SEM data, but really would like to try this out on a dataset with a
well-characterized distribution.  Do you guys know of any standard datasets
for particle counting?  Ideally, I just need to be able to generate many
spherical particles, with different sizes and fairly random packing
densities; ideally on high-res images.
