Analyze particles tool problem

Jędrzejas, Magdalena
Hello,

I have a problem with the tool called analyze particles. In one of my pictures it doesn't detect all of my particles even if I type the size of the particle 0-Infinity. What should I do?

Please help me

Magda

Re: Analyze particles tool problem

Hello Magdalena
there can be quite a lot of reasons for that without knowing more about
your pictures and results. Is the option 'exclude edge particles'
activated? Does the picture that fails have background and foreground
colors swapped (looks the same as your other pictures if the LUT is
inverted at the same time, check the pixel values when hovering the
cursor over white and black areas). There are other filters too, like
'circularity' that can exclude certain particles. Maybe activating the
outlines and looking at what is recognized can give you a clue.
Hope this helps
Christian
