Analyze plot profile using the Rectangle Tool

edurodboc
Dear all,
I am trying to obtain the grey values from a region of an image using the
Rectangle tool. When I use only the Straight Line and then Anaylze > Plot
Profile, I obtain a graphic with the gray values and distance (X,Y). But
when I want to analyze an area using the rectangle tool and then Analyze >
Plot Profil, I obtain a graphic with the average of gray values in each
distance.
Do you know how can I do to obtain the gray value in every point of the
square and not only the average?

Hi E. (Eduro?)

it is not clear to me what you want.

Do you want to read the numbers of the pixel values on the screen?
For a small area, e.g. 5*5, 7*7, etc (up to 21*21) pixels, you can see
this with the Pixel Inspector Tool
   https://imagej.nih.gov/ij/docs/guide/146-19.html#toc-Subsection-19.20

Do you want to export the numbers, for use in a Spreadsheet or so?
Then duplicate the selection, and use File>Save As>Text Image.

Do you want to plot the pixel values as a 3D graph?
Then use Analyze>Surface Plot or the Interactive 3D Surface Plot plugin.

Or maybe use a false colour LUT to show the pixel intensities.
