A 6 month vacancy for a Research Fellow (Grade 7, from January - until 31 July
2018) has arisen in an EPSRC funded project “Novel context-based segmentation
algorithms for intelligent microscopy” based at the University of Birmingham,
UK.
The project aims to develop innovative computer methods to analyse, quantify
and understand information contained in digital microscopy images.
The work centres on the development and implementation of context-based
imaging programs and spatial logics (among those, discrete mereotopolgy) to
advance automated analysis and diagnosis of oropharyngeal squamous cell
carcinomas.
