Hi,
the PHASE GmbH developed an ImageJ plugin for generating video files in selectable formats and resolutions from image streams (such as transmitted from cameras or images in stack player) displayed in an ImageJ image window. The plugin is freely available as 64 Bit and 32 bit Java version from the PHASE's web page:
