a substantially extended version of the ImageJ-plugin "Easy_PowerSpectrum" can now be downloaded from: <https://www.gluender.de/Miscellanea/MiscTexts/UtilitiesText.html#Gl-2020-2> The new set of functionalities is described as: "Magnitudes and frequencies of dominent spectral components can now be reported." "With option “Report Dominant Peaks”, that requires mean-reduction, up to 20 spectral peaks in the upper 67% power range of a spectrum are detected. Their absolute and relative magnitudes, radial frequencies and corresponding spatial periods are tabulated. Numeric formats of the table data : Spatial periods are in pixels or in corresponding units, if images have a set scale. Angles are in degrees and refer to the orientations of the basis functions, starting horizontally and increasing counter-clockwise. Radial frequencies are in 1/pixels or in 1/(corresponding units), if images have a set scale. Percent radial frequencies refer to the Nyquist-frequency (the highest possible frequency). Overlayed to the power spectrum are markers of the peak positions and the frame of analysis. (For symmetry reasons both are restricted to the left half-plane.)" a further substantially extended version of the (fully macro-recordable) ImageJ-plugin "Easy_PowerSpectrum" can now be downloaded from: <https://www.gluender.de/Miscellanea/MiscTexts/UtilitiesText.html#Gl-2020-2> With this version, the three standard methods of power-spectral image analysis are implemented, namely: 1. Report of magnitudes and frequencies of power-spectral peaks (new in version 1.1.x) 2. Plot of the radial spectral power distribution (new in version 1.2.x) 3. Plot of the angular spectral power distribution (new in version 1.2.x) The latest additions are described as follows: re 2: "The average spectral power of concentric half-circles is plotted as a function of the radius that increases in pixel-spacing steps." re 3: "The average spectral power of radial lines is plotted as a function of the angle that increases from 90° to (270 - Δφ)° in steps of Δφ = 360°/(d π), where d is the diameter of the original image or selection."
