Arrow tool

Knecht, David
Where did the arrow tool go in the latest ImageJ?  I was looking for the implementation described in section 19.10 of the Users guide (http://imagej.nih.gov/ij/docs/guide/index.html).  Thanks- Dave

The arrow tool is one of the four line selection tools. You enable it by right-clicking on the line tool icon in the toolbar and selecting "Arrow tool" from the drop down menu.

Re: Arrow tool

Thanks Wayne- I knew it was going to be something simple. I was double clicking and forgot that some are accessed by right click.  While the online tool help is good, it does have some inconsistencies on this.  For instance, the oval tool says: "Right click or double click on this tool to switch to the selection brush tool"  If fact, right and double do different things.  Also, it might be nice to have different indicators for different functions.  The little red triangles act as pulldown indicators on Dev and Stk, but for the line tool you have to right click.  Any reason the line tool options could not be a click and hold pull down rather than a right click?  Then the red arrow would uniformly indicate a pull down menu available.
Is there any reason to keep the arrow drawing tool in the menu or help?  I missed the tool I wanted because I looked for arrow tool in the docs/tools and found the other and it did not refer to the other way of drawing lines.  Also in the Guide, it looks to me like the arrow tool should be 19.9.4, not 19.10.  I could not figure out how to get to the arrow tool described because I did not realize it was part of the preceding section.  Dave
