Autocorrelation/correlation?

Guillermo Romero
Hello all.

I am interested in some "crude" autocorrelation analysis on time-
resolved stacks.  Is there an ImageJ plugin that will help me do this?

Much appreciated.

Try the Image CorrelationJ plugin (www.gcsca.net). It may be expanded
to also perform an autocorrelation analysis. There is also an
autocorrelation plugin at: http://rsb.info.nih.gov/ij/plugins/acf.html.

Gary.
www.gcsca.net.

Thanks for the suggestion, Gary.  I tried that, but I am a bit
confused on how to use the data generated by these plugins to
calculate diffusion coefficients and other dynamic properties.  I
have some moving vesicles (a few thousands of them) and I wanted to
see if I could estimate diffusion coefficients using time-resolved
images and auto-correlation analysis.  I will appreciate any
suggestions you may have.

Hi Guillermo,

You may try the tracker plugins available for ImageJ. Please, have a look
at the following urls:

http://www.embl.de/eamnet/html/kymograph.html
http://rsb.info.nih.gov/ij/plugins/track/track.html
http://rsb.info.nih.gov/ij/plugins/multitracker.html
http://bigwww.epfl.ch/sage/soft/spottracker/

Hope it helps.

best regards,
