Dear All,
I am trying to analyze mitochondrial content using images obtained through immunofluorescence. As well as the mitochondria image, I also have a cell border image.
Using ImageJ, is it firstly possible to analyze mitochondrial content in each individual cell (approximately 12 cells per image).
Secondly, I am interested in analyzing mitochondrial content close to the plasma membrane along a continuum towards the centre of the cell. Therefore, I would hope to gain data showing greater mitochondrial content in subsarcolemmal regions compared to the middle of the cell. Is there a plugin which would enable me to achieve this?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers,
Sam
