BioFormats problematic

Antje-2
Hi there,

Today, I did the upgrade from version 1.38w to the newest one. I wanted to open a multilayer tiff file (FLEX-Format from PerkinElmer/Evotec) and got this BioFormats-Dialog. Which seems not to work at all with these images???
Before, I had no problem to read in these files as a stack without any dialog or further problems.
Is there a way (beside a downgrade), to solve this issue???

Antje

Hi Antje,

I am not sure whether you sent an attachment with your message, but the
ImageJ mailing list discards them.

We have very few sample Flex files. If you could send me a copy of the data
file in question, it would be very helpful for debugging. If the file is
less than 15 MB, you can send it to me directly as an attachment; otherwise,
I can give you access to our FTP server.

In the meantime, one thing you can try is renaming your .flex file to have
.tiff extension, then using ImageJ's File/Open command. But some Flex files
use a proprietary codec that will not open with that method.

Thanks,
Curtis
