Hi folks,
I'm playing around with code under Mac OS X/JVM 1.4.2+ (same issues
on JVM 1.5) for previewing and capturing movies, based on the LiveCam
example by Jochen Broz, posted to the QuickTime for Java mailing list
with the title "Live camera picture from SequenceGrabber using awt or
OpenGL", and archived at lists.apple.com/archives/quicktime-java/2005/
Feb/msg00062.html. In my own case, I'm using the plugin written by
Wayne Rasband based on this code. It all works well on a G4 PowerMac
running OS X 10.4, but images previewed/acquired on a new MacBook Pro
(Intel Mac) have a bluish tint to them. This happens using a variety
of video sources. Other applications (QuickTime Player Pro, etc.) can
use the same sources without the blue tint.
Has anyone else seen this behavior? Is there a workaround?
Thanks in advance,
Jeff
