CASA with rat sperm

I am trying to use the CASA plug in developed by Wilson-Leedy and Ingermann
to count motility of rat sperm videos. The issue I am having is that the
hooked shape of the sperm heads makes it difficult for the program to
distinguish the heads vs everything else in the video. Has anyone else
successfully used this and can share the settings they used to get results?

i m having the same problem. so i used the manual tracking plugin for generating sperm tracks.
but still i cannot get what all CASA will give me.
