I was running Fiji on my Windows Vista system in the Program Files
directory.
However every time I started it there would be a message asking me to more
it
to a different directory so that updates could be made automatically.
At last I moved it to a non-system directory of my creation and now when I
run it
the Fiji splash screen pops up and instantly goes away.
I tried adding the directory name to my safe list in my antivirus program
but that
made no difference. Any ideas how to troubleshoot and fix this?
