Cannot see menu options in 3D Viewer on MacOSX

Hello, I am relatively new to FIJI and use the 3D viewer quite often. I am having an issue when using the drop-down menus in the 3D Viewer window - I cannot see any of the options listed below, say, 'edit'. I have to guess where to click whenever I want to change the transparency or threshold. I have tried re-installing the program but that did not help. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
