Capturing Plugin for 3d scanner package

Peter Stierlen
Dear list,

I put the Capture-plugin on my site:
http://www.stierlen1.homepage.t-online.de/modellbau/3dscanner/scanner-eng.html

You must first install JMF and your camera driver and insert the right
CLASSPATH data.
I tested it with a logitech quickcam pro9000 which works fine.

I used the plugin for capturing calibration images for the calculation of
the intrinsic camera parameters (Zhang method).

Best regards

Peter

Dear list,

after a question regarding the installation of the capture plugin and the
JMF I put an additional JMF installation tutorial on my page.

http://www.stierlen1.homepage.t-online.de/modellbau/3dscanner/jmf_installation.htm

Dear experts, Dear Wayne please have a look on it and give me your criticism
and suggestions.

One additional note why I used the VGA resolution for my application. In my
plugin which I developed for the detection of the laser lines I used the
spacetime analysis to get the skeleton lines. And this spacetime analysis is
a  time consuming process depending on the resolution and the number of scan
images.

Best regards,

Peter
