Cell Counter macro question.

Lai Ding
Hello everyone,

  I have a question regarding batch process on "Cell Counter" result files.

  Assume I have a bunch of images    image1.tif, image2.tif, ... , imagen.tif;
  I use the cell counter to manually identify different cell types and save the markers as
  CellCounter_image1.xml, CellCounter_image2,.ml,  ..., CellCounter_imagen.xml;

  However I forgot to do the "measure" part in Cell Counter window to save the result table for each image. is there a way to write a macro batch process this?  The process seems simple, I can just open each .tif file, then open the corresponding .xml in CellCounter, do the "Measure" and save the result table as "xls" file.

 But the "Macro Recorder" does not record the Cell Counter function. is there a simple way to do the batch process?

 Thanks
Lai

Sorry for the very long delay in reply. Been especially busy.

Have you tried the latest version of ImageJ's updated multi-point tool? It
now supports up to 100 counter types, and should have many advantages over
the old Cell Counter plugin—which as you probably guessed by now is not
macro friendly.

You can switch the point tool to the multi-point, and then double click the
toolbar to bring up the options, which lets you switch between counter
 types.

Please let us know how it works for you!

Regards,
Curtis
