Centroid X,Y coordinates

Douglas Benn
I have just joined the list and would be very grateful for some help.

I am processing some head axial CT slices and extracting image objects by thresholding and using the Analyze Particles routine. The program seems to work fine on a stack of 512x512x512 images. However, when I look at the x,y coords for the particles they do not seem to match where I would expect them to be.

The problem is that in the results table  particle #1, which is the head outline, has a Centroid of X=96 and Y=117. However, if I place my cursor over the center of the head outline X=237, Y=287 which seems perfectly reasonable.  Can you please explain this discrepancy?

Thanks very much.
