Dear esteemed list,
As many here I am relatively new to using ImageJ. I am currently analyzing DAB-stained lung sections where I want to select a ROI based on a color threshold. So far so good, however, the selection is applied to the whole image, whereas I only want to select a specific subset within this selection (only the region surrounding the airways). Could anyone help me with this problem? |
Hi cAMP,
What exactly do you want to do with the selection? Sounds to me like you probably just want to draw a ROI manually (Freehand selections), then do 'Edit' - 'Clear outside', or alternatively copy your selection to a new picture. grts Djoere Quoting cyclicAMP <[hidden email]>: > Dear esteemed list, > > As many here I am relatively new to using ImageJ. Perfect, but I think cyclicAMP needs steps for the whole process.

I want only to measure the surface area of the (desired) selection. Removing unwanted regions of the selection with the Freehand selection tool (holding the ALT key) seems to do the trick. I wish there would be a faster method, but this will do for now I guess. Thanks for the suggestion!
