I have taken photos of museum specimens of birds. The study is looking at differences in colouration between populations. The photos were taken with the same camera/settings/ambient light/distance/angle/RAW files.
I plan use the selection tool to highlight certain areas of the birds, then record the mean value for the red/green/blue values.
Are reflectance RGB values the best method of recording colour? Does anyone know of a better way than using RGBs?
Realise I asked a similar question last year, but this study is slightly different.
Many thanks
