Connecting a Leica camera

I recently bought a Leica DFC480 firewire camera with the hope to use  
it with ImageJ (that I have configured and was running on an iMAC,  
system 10.4  with an older BW Sony 92C camera).
For some reason, the Leica camera is not seen by ImageJ.
Any one has an idea to fix this problem?
