Hi,
I am trying to find out the coordinates of a densely packed monodisperse particle. When I move the cursor after loading the image in Imaje J, it shows me the coordinates. Is these any way to write the coordinate in a file after clicking on the center of the particle? Can you please help me out in this regard? I have tried to do the same by analyzing the center of mass as well as centroid but it did not work (I think because of very densely packed particles!). Thank you in advance. With regards, Pralay Kanti Santra. |

The point tool records coordinates in the Results table if you enable "Auto-Measure" in the Edit>Options>Point Tool dialog. You can open this dialog by double clicking on the point tool, which has a cross-hair icon. To save the recorded coordinates in a file, right-click in the Results window and select "Save As..." from the drop down menu. -wayne |
Hi Wayne,
Many many thanks for the information. Is there any way to mark the place where I am measuring the coordinates? With regards, Pralay.
