Copy to System Clipboard problem

dscho
Hi,

I am experiencing a problem when copying an image to the system clipboard
and trying to paste the result in OpenOffice.  This is on Linux, with Java
6u14.  The only link found by big G that made sense to me was this:

        http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=6607163

But they claim that the issue was fixed in 6u10.  Does anybody have more
information for me?

Ciao,
Dscho

Hi Dscho,
Copying into OOo (Opensuse linux) never worked for me.
However, I have been able to copy from other apps (including OOo) into ImageJ
using File>New>System Clipboard.

Cheers

Hi Dscho,

I've had major problems using copy-paste in linux for the last few years
(OpenSuse). OpenOffice never worked well for me.  I was able to paste
into Microsoft Powerpoint running in CodeWeavers Crossover Office.

Look in the archives for some of my posts on the ImageJ forum, I've
posted various details.  I think someone with knowledge of Java might be
able to figure it out - there were lots of strange details.
