Counting particles including gray values

Oliver Bannach-2
Dear folks,

I'd like to plot particle intensity against particle size. Therefore I
need to count particles and their corresponding gray values (mean or
total) from an image. In thresholded images, unfortunately, information
about intensity gets lost, so I cannot use the "Analyze particles"
function in ImageJ.Is there a way to perfom particle counting including
information about intensity?

Many thanks!

Cheers
Oliver

It will help if you read the documentation on Analyze Particles

http://rsbweb.nih.gov/ij/docs/menus/analyze.html#ap

specially the part that says "Redirect To".
