Covariogram plugin

Carolina Guardiola
Dear List,

I would like to know where I can download the Covariogram plugin. I’ve been
trying to do it with the external link of

        <http://www.diagnosticarea.com/plugins.html> Dimiter Prodanov
(Grayscale Morphology, Grayscale Covariogram (and variogram)  Grayscale
Granulometry)

But it does not work any more.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance,

Carolin

Hi Carolina,

if you can find it (I cant either0
then you might consider using R instead,
http://rgm2.lab.nig.ac.jp/RGM2/func.php?rd_id=geoRglm:plot.covariogram

for R, see
http://cran.r-project.org/

in any case, ImageJ isnt really designed for statistical analysis,
or plotting nice figures,
although once can write tools for imageJ to do that (In fact, I did...)

The Fiji crew are working on making it easier to use ImageJ and R together,
so we dont have to re implement stuff that is already in the amazing R.

cheers

Dan

Re: Covariogram plugin

Carolina Guardiola
Hi Dan,

Thanks a lot for your answer. The problem is that images are so big
(detailed tomography's in 3D) that with R my computer has not enough memory
to treat them.

ImageJ is the unique code that I found to see my images without big memory
problems. My geostatistical codes cannot either load such big files, so may
be the only option that I have is to write a tool by my self....

Thanks again,

Carolina
