Dear all (probably Wayne),
First of all I would like a happy new year to everybody I havent done it already. So I just went through the new ImageJ features coming out on 1.52j 29 December 2018 and the addition of the "Plugins>Macros>Interactive Interpreter" seems a quite cool feature. I think I will especially like the "ctrl+shift+F - open Function Finder" feature. Very unfortunately, Im quite a keyboard freak and thus I have tried the shortcut "j" which should as well launch the "Plugins>Macros>Interactive Interpreter" command. So on my version of ImageJ, I didnt activate the "Require control key for shortcuts" in "Edit>Options>Misc " and the shortcut "j" is actually launching the "Save as JPEG" feature. Nevertheless Im able to launch the the "Plugins>Macros>Interactive Interpreter" command with "Ctrl + j" shortcut but then ImageJ gets frozen. And it is then not possible to write anything in the the "Plugins>Macros>Interactive Interpreter" command window but still possible to play with the menu features but nothing happens (even by doing "File>Quit"). The only way I found to close ImageJ after using the with "Ctrl + j" shortcut is then to kill the process through the task manager (Im under Windows 7). I Thank you very luch in advance for your help on this. The "Save as JPEG…” command is an example macro in the StartupMacros file. You can free up the “j” shortcut by using the Plugins>Macros>Startup Macros command to open StartupMacros.txt, deleting or modifying the "Save as JPEG…” macro and then saving the updated file. > Nevertheless I’m able to launch the the "Plugins>Macros>Interactive > Interpreter" command with "Ctrl + j" shortcut but then ImageJ gets frozen. This bug is fixed in the latest ImageJ daily build (1.52k23). -wayne > And it is then not possible to write anything in the the > "Plugins>Macros>Interactive Interpreter" command window but still possible > to play with the menu features but nothing happens (even by doing > "File>Quit"). > > The only way I found to close ImageJ after using the with "Ctrl + j" > shortcut is then to kill the process through the task manager (I’m under > Windows 7). > > I Thank you very luch in advance for your help on this. > > My best regards, > > Philippe -- ImageJ mailing list: http://imagej.nih.gov/ij/list.html |
