Cursors in ImageJ

Justin McGrath
Hi Everyone,
Are the cursor styles controlled by the operating system or ImageJ? I
ask because I find the crosshair cursor annoying and would like to
change it, but don't see anything in ImageJ that will let me do that.

The cursors are controlled by the operating system and/or Java. On
Windows, you can switch to other cursor styles by double clicking on
the cursor you want to change in the "Pointers" tab of the Mouse
Control Panel. You can also switch to other pointer schemes, but it is
probably best to stick with "Windows Default (system scheme)". You can
also tell ImageJ to use a pointer cursor instead of the cross by
checking "Use Pointer Cursor" in the Edit>Options>Misc. Note that there
is a bug in ImageJ 1.37s and earlier that causes macro tools to ignore
the "Use Pointer Cursor" option.
