DICOM Brightness/Contrast Adjustment

Hi,

I noticed that when viewing CT DICOM images the
Brightness/Contrast sliders adjust the image such huge
increments that the sliders are useless.
Specifically, one right arrow click moves like 200 or
so.  For other DICOM images (such as MRI or X-ray) the
adjustment sliders are not so strong.

Is this the amount of brightness/contrast moved by the
arrow click related to DICOM imageJ processor or
something?

How can I reduce the strength of these sliders for
CTs?
