Hi,
I’ve recently downloaded FIJI to correct the distortion that is introduced
in the images I take with a stereo-microscope (using the distortion
correction plugin).
I encounter two issues: 1- the output images (after I enter a value of
lambda = 20, which visually seems to make a good job at correcting the
distortion) for some reason all the output images are being cropped. I
noticed that the txt file that contains the information for the
transformation indicates an output image size smaller than the original
image size. So I resized the images to a lower resolution. That solved the
problem, but I would really like to use higher resolution, is there a way
around it?
2- I carefully compared a “distrosion-corrected” with a “non-corrected”
image and they are exactly the same, suggesting that, despite Fiji
visualizes some changes to the vectorial space as I increase alpha, the
software actually does not make any correction to the images. Do you have
any ideas why this is happening?
thank you very much,
MARCO
