The x scale in pixels/mm is shown in the Analyze>Set Scale dialog.
The width and height in mm of a pixel are shown in the
Image>Properties dialog. Use the Image>Show Info command and the
height and width in mm of a pixel are specified by the Pixel Spacing
tag (0028,0030).

object tracking criteria

Michael Ji
hi there,

I used the ImageJ's tracker plug-in to track vehicle
object in camera video frame. I found not all vehicles
are been tracked through all frame.

I checked the source code of Tracker_.java and
MultiTracker_.java. I found both use the senario that
if two objects in two adjacent frames has the shortest
distance, they are tracked as the same object.

Is this method specially fitting for medical image
processing? because I saw ImageJ's users are mostly
from medical field.

I am thinking to supplement with other criteria, such
as, object area size. Will that become more accurate?

thanks your time,

Michael,
