Discrepancy between particle analyzer/object counter and analyze skeleton

Chandler, Kathy
Hi

I'm getting a discrepancy between particle analyzer/ object counter and the analyze skeleton results. In the image that I am analysing both particle analyzer and 3D objects counter show 556 particles/objects, but analyze skeleton is only finding 490 skeletons. Does anyone know why there is this difference and, if it is an error, can it be fixed?

Regards

Kathy

Hello Kathy,

Do you have objects with less than 2 voxels?

Otherwise, it might have to do with the neighbor definition of both
plugins. AnalyzeSkeleton allows diagonal neighbors, do you know if the
3D object counter does?
