Hi Naveen,
not really true!!!! Depends on the type of Image, an 8-bit image is
displayed as is, 16 and 32 bit are autoscaled after loading,
but you can override this via Image/Adjust/Window/Level, you can even set
explicit values for "intermediate" grey and and range ("width").
You can also propagate these setting to all open windows (of the same
"bitness", i assume), which might be what you need!
