Does the Stitching plugin only create a stack in one channel?

Michael Johnson
Hello all,

I'm moving smaller images from Imaris to Fiji to stitch them together and move them back to Imaris for analysis. However, after stitching in Fiji, the resulting stack of images is in a single channel and so limits my ability to analyze the image in Imaris. Is there any way for the stitching plugin to retain the channels that exist for the initial images?

Thanks,
Michael

Dear Michael,

The stitching plug-in does not reduce our split the channels.

Could you describe your work flow a bit more in detail?

Cheers
Niko

Hi Michael,

on Fiji you can try to save your image using the bioformats exporter, ics/ids format.
we observe that "basic" .tif files from fiji could be interpreted by Imaris as 1 channel image.

I hope it could help,

Cheers,

Romain
