ESRIC super-resolution summer school 2018

The ESRIC Super-Resolution Summer School 16th – 20th July 2018

Our international summer school on super-resolution microscopy is currently open for applications, with the next selection deadline 31st January and the final selection deadline 28th February if spaces permit. The ESRIC Summer School is a five-day residential course now in its fifth year. It brings together researchers from across the globe to learn from the leaders in super-resolution microscopy, gain project-specific advice and network with likeminded researchers.

Through informal lectures, Q&As and hands-on workshops, delegates will learn about the theory and practise of structured illumination microscopy (SIM), stimulated emission depletion microscopy (STED), AiryScan Microscopy and single molecule localization microscopies as well as sample preparation and analysis.

This year’s speakers include Silvio Rizzoli, Christian Eggeling, Sarah Abrahamsson, Jonathan Grimm, Ricardo Henriques, Sebastian van de Linde and Sandrine Leveque-Fort. With industry representatives confirmed from Leica, Zeiss, Nikon, Hamamatsu, ONI and Andor to provide practical workshops on their latest super-res technologies.
