Dear list,
I'm trying to analyze bone adjacent to an implant and am looking to gather some advice on what the most logical approach to tackle this may be.
Basically I have a gray scale image, the implant is while and the bone is gray, dead space is black. I am interested in determining how many pixels adjacent to the implant are "bone".
Perhaps some sort of edge detection is appropriate or some advice on what might be the best approach to this.
