Now I have been asked to recruit a PhD student under the "Edinburgh
Imaging Prize Studentships". The studentships were announced before
Christmas, the detail of which can be found on
http://edinburghimaging.com/index.html<
http://edinburghimaging.com/index.html> . I have also attached the
project proposal, from which you can find that it is a joint project
with the Edinburgh Cancer research UK Centre, The University of
Edinburg. Dr Serrels is part of professor Margret Frame's group, which
is a leading activity in cancer imaging in the UK. The project aims to
develop and apply imaging techniques, particularly super-resolution
imaging in cancer research. You can find our relevant references in the
proposal form. The first reference, which underlies the proposed work,
is yet to be published, as we are filing a patent on the technology
right now. The patient application should complete within a couple of
weeks, then the paper is available.
Can you please let me know immediately if you are interested?. The
deadline is 11th January, 2013. If you are interested, please complete
the application attached along with your CV and two reference letters in
the next two days. Sorry for the short notice. The Prize studentships
are competitive. I am more than happy to discuss with you on anything
related to this application and if necessary to help you complete the
form.
