Ever turned your iPhone into a TV remote and never looked back?

Gaffa
I was cleaning up my living room a few months ago and realized my TV remote had basically vanished into thin air. Instead of tearing the place apart, I tried using my iPhone to control the TV — and wow, I’ve never gone back. It’s way faster, and I don’t have to hunt for batteries anymore. Has anyone else ditched their regular remote for good? Curious if it works just as well for smart TVs from different brands.

When I first tried controlling my TV with my iPhone, it seemed like just a cool feature. But after a couple of days, the regular remote is practically useless. The smartphone is always at hand: you can quickly change the channel, adjust the volume, or pause a movie without getting up from the couch or searching for the remote all over the apartment.

It's a simple solution that you quickly get used to—and you never want to go back to the old way. It's especially convenient if you have children at home or if you regularly lose the remote.
