FFT and line profile

Steve Tang
Dear All,

I am a beginner of ImageJ. I want to use ImageJ to show line profile and
periodicity of images from TEM, SEM, etc.

I know how to generate FFT. How can I get line profile from FFT?

Thanks a lot!

Hi Steve,

look up the List Archive

https://list.nih.gov/cgi-bin/wa?S1=imagej

for

"FFT along line in image"

you can get a line profile in an arbitrary image by defining a line
selection (straight, segmented oder freehand) and pressing "Ctrl+K" (or
just "K" on some machines) to execute "Analyze > Plot Profile".

Please refer to http://rsb.info.nih.gov/ij/docs/menus/analyze.html#plot
for further information.

Best Regards,
Cornelius
