Subject: 3D Cluster Determination with Spatial Analysis
Hi Thomas,
This is Xin and I've been posting on the forums regarding cluster analysis. The basic idea again is as follows:
1. Take an image of a 3D stack of objects, run 3D Object Counter to determine the number of objects (and assign a number to each).
2. Take the same image, but place a Roi around each original cluster, expand the Roi by a set distance to incorporate some of the neighboring clusters.
3. Question is, is there a way to determine which of the original clusters has now been included within the newly expanded Roi? The output would be something like:
New Cluster 1
Object 1
Object 2
New Cluster 2
Object 3
Object 4
I've attached an example image for you to test, also a copy of the macro for enlarging the roi in 3D. Appreciate your time!
Cheers,
Xin
